Terms of Service
What Antaryami is, what it costs, who the Jyotishis are, and where the limits of astrological guidance lie.
In short
- Antaryami gives you Vedic astrology tools and, if you want them, consultations with independent Jyotishis. It is guidance to think with — never medical, legal or financial advice.
- The Jyotishis are independent practitioners, not our employees. We check who they say they are; we do not guarantee what they tell you.
- You add money to a wallet, and consultations bill from it by the minute at the rate shown before you start. Ending a session stops the billing.
- An unanswered question is refunded automatically. Cancelling an appointment is refunded in full seven days ahead, at half between three and seven days, and not at all inside three days. If something goes wrong, tell us and we will put it right.
- You can leave whenever you like. Deleting your account is a button on the account screen, and it takes your charts and history with it.
That is the gist. The full terms are below, numbered so you can point at one.
1. These terms, and what they cover#
1.1 The service
“Antaryami” (“we”, “us”) is a Vedic astrology service operated by Soham Collective Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia, which also operates Soham Inner Calm. These terms govern your use of all of it: the website at antaryami.com.au, the Antaryami application for iOS and for Android, and any feature reached through them.
Where a clause applies to only one of those, it says so.
1.2 Agreeing to them
By creating an account, casting a chart, or paying for anything, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy, which forms part of them.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. You can read and cast charts as a guest, and that is use.
1.3 Changes
We may change these terms as the product changes. The date at the foot of the page tells you when they last changed.
If a change materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use Antaryami after that is how you accept it. Your remedy if you do not accept is to stop using the service and delete your account, and we will refund any unused wallet balance you ask us to.
1.4 Language
These terms are published in English, and the English text is the authoritative version. The Nepali summary is provided for convenience and is not a substitute for it.
2. Who may use Antaryami#
2.1 Age
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Antaryami only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and they accept these terms with you.
We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
2.2 Paid features and minors
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live before you add money to a wallet or start a paid consultation. If you are not, do not use the paid features.
2.3 Where you are
Antaryami is operated from Australia and offered worldwide. It is not directed at any territory where astrology services, or the features here, are unlawful. Using it from such a place is your decision and your responsibility.
3. Your account#
3.1 Guests and accounts
You can use Antaryami as a guest, without giving us an email address. A guest session lives on the device that created it, and its saved charts are limited in number.
Signing in — with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple — creates a real account, raises the limit, and lets your charts follow you between devices. When you sign in from a guest session we carry the charts you made as a guest into the account rather than discarding them.
3.2 Keeping it yours
Keep your password and your device secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account, except to the extent it results from our failure.
Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. We may sign every session out and require a new password.
3.3 Accuracy
A chart is arithmetic performed on what you type. A birth time out by an hour produces a different lagna and therefore a different reading. We do not verify birth details and cannot; their accuracy is yours.
Where a birth time is unknown, Antaryami says so and treats the reading accordingly rather than pretending to a precision it does not have.
4. What Antaryami is — and is not#
4.1 What we provide
Computed birth charts, divisional charts, dasha timelines, panchang and calendar data, compatibility matching, written interpretations, an AI assistant, and access to independent Jyotishis for live voice or chat consultations, written questions and booked appointments.
4.2 What it is not
Nothing on Antaryami — no chart, no dasha, no interpretation, no AI answer and no Jyotishi’s reading — is medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice of any kind. It is offered for reflection, guidance and cultural interest.
For anything touching your health, your money, your legal position or your safety, consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line, not an astrologer.
Do not stop, start or change a medical treatment because of anything you read here.
4.3 No promise of outcomes
Astrology is not a predictive science and we do not present it as one. We make no representation that any reading will prove accurate, that any timing will hold, or that acting on a reading will produce any result.
Where Antaryami shows a confidence figure drawn from other users’ self-reported outcomes, that is a count of what people told us, not evidence.
4.4 How we calculate
Charts are computed by our own engine using published astronomical ephemerides and the Lahiri ayanamsa by default, with the doctrine sourced from classical Parashari texts. Two reputable tools can disagree slightly about a sunrise or a node; where that happens we document the convention we chose rather than hiding it.
5. The AI assistant#
5.1 It is a machine
Antaryami AI generates text. It is labelled as AI wherever it appears, and it is not a Jyotishi, not a person, and not supervised in real time by one.
5.2 What it is given
To answer in the context of your chart, your question and a summary of the computed chart — including the name on that chart — are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic. Your raw date, time and place of birth are not sent.
The Privacy Policy sets out what Anthropic receives and what it may do with it.
5.3 It can be wrong
Generated answers may be inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent with the classical doctrine they are grounded in. Treat them as a starting point. When the AI provider is unavailable, Antaryami answers from its own rules instead and tells you which answered.
5.4 Telling us about a bad answer
If the assistant produces something offensive, harmful or plainly wrong, tap Report under the answer, or tell us through the contact form, so we can correct the grounding. We act on those reports.
6. Consultations with a Jyotishi#
6.1 They are independent
Jyotishis on Antaryami are independent practitioners who choose to offer their services through the platform. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and they are not supervised by us during a consultation.
The contract for a reading is between you and the Jyotishi. Antaryami provides the introduction, the connection and the billing.
6.2 What “verified” means
A verified badge means a reviewer at Antaryami looked at the identity and qualification evidence that person submitted and accepted it. It is a check on who they are.
It is not an endorsement of their skill, a warranty of their advice, or a statement that any prediction they make will hold.
6.3 What they can see
Nothing is shared with any Jyotishi until you start a consultation with them. When you do, they see the chart you choose to share and the messages you send. They do not see your other charts, your email or your payment details.
6.4 Conduct
Tell us if a Jyotishi behaves improperly, asks you to pay outside Antaryami, asks for money for a remedy, or pressures you. We investigate, and we suspend accounts.
Never send money to a Jyotishi outside the platform. We cannot help you recover it, and asking is itself a breach of their terms.
6.5 Availability
A Jyotishi shown as online has said they are available. They may still decline or miss a call. Where a call fails to connect, you are not charged for it.
7. Money#
7.1 The wallet
Paid features draw on an Antaryami wallet balance that you top up in advance. Balances and prices are shown and held in United States dollars, whatever currency your payment method charges you in; your bank or the store sets the conversion rate and may add a fee.
A wallet balance is credit for use on Antaryami. It is not a deposit, it earns no interest, and it is not money we hold for you as a bank would.
7.2 How you pay
On the website and on Android, top-ups are taken by Stripe. On iPhone and iPad they are taken by Apple as an in-app purchase. We never see or store your card number.
7.3 Live consultations
A live consultation bills per minute from your wallet at the rate displayed before it starts. That rate is fixed for the session at the moment it begins, so a Jyotishi changing their price mid-call cannot change what you pay.
Each account gets a short free introductory period once per calendar month, which the Jyotishi contributes from their own earnings rather than us. After it, billing begins.
Ending the session stops the billing. If your balance runs out, the session ends on its own within about a minute, and you are charged only for what your balance covered.
7.4 Questions, appointments, reports and Antaryami AI
A written question and a booked appointment are charged at the price shown before you confirm. A downloadable report is charged when you order it.
Antaryami AI includes a number of free questions each day, shown under the chat box; they renew at midnight Nepal time. After them, a signed-in account is charged the per-question price shown there from its wallet — lower in Nepal, worked out as the Privacy Policy describes (2.13) — and we ask you to confirm before the first paid question each day. Without an account there are no paid questions — you are asked to sign in instead. You are charged only for answers the AI actually writes: an answer from our own rules, given when the AI provider is unavailable (5.3), is never counted or charged.
7.5 Our fee
Antaryami keeps a percentage of each paid consultation, question and appointment, and the Jyotishi receives the rest. The percentage is 25% unless we have agreed otherwise with that Jyotishi.
A Jyotishi may offer a discount of up to 20% on their own bookings. Larger discounts are ours to grant.
7.6 Taxes
Prices shown may not include taxes that apply where you are. Any tax on your purchase is yours unless the law puts it on us.Pending legal review: as an Australian company, GST registration once turnover passes AUD $75,000 and GST on sales to Australian consumers; plus digital-services tax in India and the EU.
8. Refunds and cancellation#
8.1 Automatic refunds
A written question that no Jyotishi answers before it expires is refunded to your wallet automatically, in full.
A cancelled appointment is refunded according to the notice you give, as set out in clause 8.2.
8.2 Moving or cancelling an appointment
A booked appointment reserves a specific hour of a Jyotishi’s working day, and time that is released close to the appointment can rarely be offered to anyone else. What is refunded therefore depends on how much notice you give.
Seven days or more before the appointment is due to begin, the full amount is refunded to your Antaryami wallet.
Less than seven days but three days or more before it is due to begin, half the amount is refunded to your wallet.
Less than three days before it is due to begin, no amount is refunded.
The notice period is measured from the moment you confirm the cancellation to the time the appointment was due to start. The amount that will be returned to you is shown before you confirm, and you are free not to proceed.
If the Jyotishi cancels, or does not attend, you are refunded in full however much notice was given. This clause governs cancellations you make, not cancellations made to you.
You may move an appointment to a different time once, at any point up to three days before it is due to begin. Moving it keeps the same price and charges you nothing further, and the Jyotishi is told of the change.
Moving an appointment does not improve what you would be refunded if you later cancel it. The entitlement is fixed at whatever it was at the moment you moved it, so that a booking already inside a reduced-refund period cannot be moved out of one. It is not reduced by moving either: an appointment moved while it was still fully refundable stays fully refundable.
8.3 Asking us to consider a refund
Where this section gives you no automatic refund, you may still ask us to look at your circumstances. Write to prakasbhattarai@gmail.com setting out what happened and when, and we will consider whether a refund should be made.
Please treat this as an exception rather than an expectation. Outside the automatic refunds described above, a refund is not ordinarily given, and asking does not suspend or extend any time limit in this section.
Pending legal review: whether a tiered cancellation charge and a discretionary-refund process are enforceable as drafted under the Australian Consumer Law — a non-refundable charge can be an unfair contract term if it exceeds a genuine estimate of our loss — and whether a cooling-off right applies to an appointment booked online.
8.4 When something goes wrong
If a call failed, a session billed you twice, or a reading was not delivered, contact us and we will correct it. We would rather refund a disputed session than argue about it.
8.5 Unused balance
A top-up is for use on Antaryami and is not otherwise redeemable for cash. If you close your account with an unused balance, ask us and we will refund what you have not spent by the means you paid, where the payment provider allows it.
8.6 Purchases through Apple
A top-up bought on an iPhone or iPad is a purchase from Apple. Apple’s own refund process applies to it as well as ours, and Apple’s decision on such a refund is theirs to make.
8.7 Dissatisfaction with a reading
We do not refund a completed consultation because you disagree with what was said, or because a prediction did not come to pass. Clause 4.3 is the reason, and it is the honest position: nobody can promise that.
We do refund where a Jyotishi behaved improperly, was absent, or did not deliver the service you paid for.
9. If you are a Jyotishi on Antaryami#
9.1 Applying
To offer consultations you apply, submit identity and qualification evidence, and pass a knowledge test. We review it and may accept, ask for more, or decline. We may decline without giving reasons.
The documents you send us are stored encrypted and are visible only to you and to a reviewer.
9.2 Your practice is yours
You set your per-minute rate and your availability. You decide what you say to a client. You are an independent practitioner, not our employee, and nothing here creates employment, partnership or agency. You are responsible for your own taxes and for any registration your practice requires.Pending legal review: contractor classification under Australian law for a practitioner engaged by an Australian company, and withholding or reporting obligations on payments made to Nepal, India and the United States.
9.3 Earnings
Your share of each paid session, question and appointment is credited to your Antaryami balance when it settles, net of our fee.
There is at present no automatic withdrawal in the product. Settlement of your balance to you is arranged with us directly. If you have earnings to take out, contact us.
9.4 How you must behave
Do not diagnose illness, prescribe treatment, or tell anyone to stop a medical treatment. Do not predict death or terminal illness. Do not offer to remove a curse, break black magic, or sell a remedy, gemstone or ritual for money. Do not ask a client to pay you outside Antaryami. Do not contact a client outside the platform without their invitation. Do not discriminate against a client on grounds of caste, ethnicity, gender, religion or disability.
Breaching this is grounds for immediate suspension and for withholding earnings connected to the breach.
9.5 Client information
A client’s chart and messages are theirs, shared with you for the consultation. Do not keep them beyond what you need, do not share them, and do not use them for anything else. You are handling someone’s personal and sometimes sensitive data, and the obligation is yours as well as ours.
10. How you may and may not use Antaryami#
10.1 Reasonable use
Use Antaryami for yourself and for people who have asked you to. You may cast a chart for someone else — that is ordinary astrological practice — but you must have their agreement before you store their birth details or share their chart.
10.2 What is not allowed
Do not scrape, bulk-download or resell our calculations or content. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, payment, or the free-tier limits. Do not probe, load-test or attack the service. Do not reverse-engineer the apps except as the law allows. Do not use Antaryami to harass, deceive or defraud anyone, or to impersonate a Jyotishi.
Do not present our output as your own commercial astrology service without a written agreement with us.
10.3 Automated access
Our API exists to serve our own apps. It is not a public API, and using it from anything else is not permitted without our written agreement.
11. Content#
11.1 Yours stays yours
The birth details, questions, notes and messages you enter remain yours. You give us the permission we need to store them, compute with them, show them back to you, and pass them to a Jyotishi you consult — and nothing wider than that.
We do not use your content to train an AI model, and we do not sell it.
11.2 Ours stays ours
The software, the interpretation text, the designs, the chart rendering and the Antaryami name are ours or our licensors’. You may read and use them through the service; you may not copy, republish or resell them.
Classical Jyotish doctrine is nobody’s property. Our particular expression of it is.
11.3 Your own charts
Download, print and share your own charts and reports freely, for yourself and with whoever you like.
11.4 Third-party software
Antaryami is built partly on open-source software, and we comply with its licences. Where a licence requires us to offer you its source, we will, on request through the contact form.
12. Availability, and what we do not warrant#
12.1 Availability
We try to keep Antaryami running and accurate. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in any particular place at any particular time. We may change, suspend or withdraw a feature.
Where we withdraw a paid feature you have credit for, we will refund the unused part.
12.2 No warranty
Beyond what these terms say and what the law requires of us, Antaryami is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW. Because we are an Australian company, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, or any equivalent right you have under consumer law where you live. Where a guarantee applies and we have failed it, you are entitled to the remedy the law gives you, and the paragraph above and clause 13 are read subject to that.Pending legal review: confirm the prescribed consumer-guarantees wording, and whether any of these services are "goods or services" to which a specific remedy notice must be attached.
13. Liability#
13.1 What we are not liable for
We are not liable for any decision you take in reliance on a chart, a reading, an AI answer or anything a Jyotishi tells you. Clause 4.2 is not decoration: this service is not advice, and acting on it is your choice.
We are not liable for what an independent Jyotishi says or does, beyond our own failure to act on a report about them.
13.2 Limit
Subject to clause 12.2 and only to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of Antaryami is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty United States dollars. Where the Australian Consumer Law or an equivalent applies, that law sets the remedy and this limit does not reduce it.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss of data beyond our duty to keep backups.Pending legal review: this cap is likely UNENFORCEABLE against an Australian consumer, and may be void rather than merely ineffective. Confirm whether to keep it for non-consumers only, replace it with the ACL-permitted limitation of re-supplying the service, or drop it.
13.3 What we never exclude
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
13.4 Your responsibility to us
If a claim is brought against us because of something you did on Antaryami — content you submitted, someone’s details you stored without their agreement, or a breach of clause 10 — you will cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
14. Suspension, termination and deletion#
14.1 You leaving
Stop using Antaryami whenever you like. Delete your account from the account screen, in the app or on the website.
Deletion is scheduled fourteen days out rather than done immediately, so an accidental tap is recoverable — signing in again before then cancels it. After that your account, your saved charts and your history are removed. We keep what the law requires us to keep, such as a record of a payment.
14.2 Us suspending you
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses another person, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
We will refund an unused wallet balance on a closure that was not for a serious breach.
14.3 What survives
Clauses 11, 12, 13 and 15 continue to apply after your account ends.
15. Complaints and disputes#
15.1 Talk to us first
Most problems are a mistake or a misunderstanding. Contact us through the form and tell us what happened; we will answer. Nothing here stops you going to a regulator or a court.
15.2 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the Australian courts have jurisdiction, except where consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.Pending legal review: name the specific State or Territory of the exclusive jurisdiction to match where Soham Collective Pty Ltd is registered, and confirm whether an arbitration or small-claims carve-out is wanted.
16. Contact#
16.1 Reaching us
Use the contact form on the website or in the app. It reaches a person. We do not publish a support mailbox because the only address on the system sends and does not receive.
Questions, or want your data removed? Contact us.
